Discovered by a curious tea master in 1920s Kyoto, hojicha is the ultimate light bodied green tea.

Flame roasted instead of steamed to yield a dark, malty experience with an alluring aroma to charm your senses. This smooth, toffee like tea is naturally low in both caffeine and tannin, making it an ideal after dinner refreshment.
