Our Maiko Matcha is one of the smoothest, most umami-filled organic matcha green teas we've come across. The most brilliant of emerald greens, Maiko Matcha is a blended ceremonial matcha combining tencha (matcha tea leaves) grown in the high mountains of both Kagoshima in the south of Japan and Shizuoka in central Japan. Airfreighted in small batches direct from the producer to ensure the product retains optimal farm-fresh flavour and quality, this unique style of powdered green tea is perfect on its own with warm or chilled water, or whipped into a creamy matcha latte.
